* Century 21 LaCarre agent Jo Ann Poole of Simi Valley was presented the Centurion award for the fourth consecutive year. The award, the company’s highest recognition, is presented to 1% of Century 21 Realtors. Poole also is a member of Century 21’s Diamond Masters Club.

* Eric Williams, senior staff engineer at IPC Systems Engineering in Ventura, has been promoted to director of engineering operations, assuming responsibility for day-to-day operations. Williams has managed several projects, including a $6-million wastewater treatment plant, a pet food processing plant and various paper mill and steel mill upgrades.

* John Stephan, senior vice president for retail sales and planning at Great Western Bank, has assumed the additional responsibility of area manager for Central California. The territory includes 106 retail banking and supermarket branches in Ventura, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Kern and Fresno counties. Stephan, who joined Great Western last year, lives in Simi Valley.

* Jon Light, senior partner in the Oxnard law firm of Nordman, Cormany, Hair & Compton, has been elected to the board of directors of the Ventura County Taxpayers Assn. Light represents employers in wrongful termination, discrimination and harassment lawsuits. He is active in several community organizations.

* Brokers J. P. McDonald and Eric Voulgaris have joined the Ventura County/Santa Barbara office of Daum Commercial Real Estate Services.

McDonald, a Westlake Village resident, comes to Daum from Marcus & Millichap in Encino. He will specialize in investment and industrial transactions.

Voulgaris of Santa Barbara joins Daum after having worked in the former Oxnard office of Grubb & Ellis, where he specialized in the Ventura County industrial market.

* Sue Kroll was named to the new position of senior vice president of marketing for Burbank-based Warner Bros. International Theatrical Distribution. Previously, Kroll was senior vice president of Warner Bros. International Channels.
