Beverly Hills-based Hilton Hotels Corp. said it plans to sell $300 million in 10-year notes late next week. The proceeds will replace floating-rate commercial paper to fund a tender offer for about $1.2 billion in bonds of Bally Entertainment Corp., which Hilton bought last year. . . . Woodland Hills-based Litton Industries Inc. won a $116.2-million contract from Taiwan for radar-warning systems to be installed on the military’s fighter planes. The systems will be produced at Litton’s Grants Pass, Ore., facility. . . . Rosemead-based Edison International appointed an outsider, Stephen E. Pazian, to lead its retail businesses, effective May 1. The Rosemead-based utility launched the businesses last year to offer services and products beyond its traditional business of supplying electricity. Pazian will oversee the operation of Edison’s new unregulated companies, Edison Source, Edison Select and Edison EV. . . . Irvine-based Auto-By-Tel Corp. said it has decided to postpone its planned initial public stock offering due to unfavorable stock market conditions.
