Limited Inc. said it’s reviewing industry charges that the retailer illegally brought Chinese-made garments into the United States. The Columbus, Ohio-based company said it’s awaiting receipt of the complaint from the American Textile Manufacturers Assn., which it called a serious matter. . . . Sears Roebuck & Co. agreed to sell a 60% stake in its Sears Mexico unit to Grupo Carso, a Mexican conglomerate, for $103 million. The giant retailer will keep a 15% stake in the unit, which retains a five-year license to the Sears Mexico name. . . . West Virginia can pursue two of 14 claims in its health-related lawsuit against tobacco companies, a judge ruled. The circuit court judge in February dismissed 11 of the claims, and the state said it still plans to appeal that ruling. . . . Reader’s Digest Assn. Inc. said it acquired Walking magazine from Cowles Media Co. for undisclosed terms. The publisher plans to rename the 600,000-circulation magazine, which is published six times a year, Reader’s Digest Walking.
