Outdoor Jazz Concerts Set for Downtown L.A.
A series of free outdoor jazz concerts begins today at the Music Center Plaza in downtown Los Angeles. The CalArts Jazz Ensemble also performs April 19, 26 and May 10.
The jazz concerts kick off with the Benny Lackner Quartet, featuring Benny Lackner on piano; Jeff Alkire, alto saxophone; Gus Seyffert and Tony Austin, drums. There will be a salsa band performance May 5.
All concerts are at 6 p.m.
