In commemoration of Earth Day, downtown Ventura will host an Eco-ArtWalk on Saturday.

The event, from 6 to 10 p.m., is a self-guided tour through galleries, coffeehouses, museums and exhibits focusing on environmentally conscious artists and featuring environmentally minded or recycled materials.

Nearly 50 downtown galleries, museums and artist studios will be on the tour, with artists demonstrating their work in some venues.

Downtown at the Mini Park, in the 300 block of Main Street, eco-minded businesses and organizations will display educational materials. The Celtic Crossover, a four-piece ensemble, will perform tunes with an Irish flair.
