Church Arson Follows Rioting

From Times Wire Reports

An arson attack on a Roman Catholic church followed overnight rioting in this embattled British province. In the latest in a string of sectarian attacks, vestments and the interior of a church in Annaclone were damaged by a deliberately set early morning fire, the fifth in two weeks at Catholic churches, police said. The blaze followed overnight clashes between Protestants and Catholics near Lurgan. Northern Ireland, destabilized by guerrilla conflict over the future of British rule, has experienced months of rising tension.
