Transportation Service

Share

It is about time the Metropolitan Transportation Authority will be scrutinized for its blundering and inept organizing of the L.A. subway plan.

How this project was permitted to begin I will never know. As it is, we have a less-than-adequate bus system for transportation.

Almost every day I see buses broken down and people transferred to another bus that sounds ready for the junkyard. Poor scheduling is another problem. I have often had to transfer only to see the connecting bus leave, then have to wait for 20 to 30 minutes for the next bus and be late for work. Why can’t the bus drivers have some sort of paging or signaling system. With the technology available, this would be so simple.

The subway project should be scrapped before L.A. taxpayers end up footing the bill for an inch more of this harebrained scheme.

This project has been a hardship, and in some cases a complete disaster, to businesses in the construction areas.

The remaining funds should be used to update and improve the transportation service in existence today.
