‘The Arrival’

This is a sci-fi movie, and if you can’t deliver yourself over to it, you have no business watching it. Charlie Sheen (pictured), who as an increasingly manic radio astronomer appears attached to the role, does have to recite some truly awful stuff to aliens at the end of the film (HBO Tuesday at 8 p.m.).
