Area Will Cool Down Early in the Week
Temperatures will cool off slightly today from the weekend’s mid-80-degree highs because of a low-pressure system bringing high clouds and increased breeziness.
On some occasions, low-pressure systems can bring rain, but not this time, weather forecasters said.
“We’ll get some clouds, some winds and a deeper marine layer,” said Dennis Tussey, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Oxnard. “That’s what it amounts to here.”
The weather should warm up later in the week as high pressure moves into the region. High temperatures forecast for today are 77 in Woodland Hills and 75 in Burbank.
