For the 30th year, the women’s division of the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce has recognized five women with Annie Anaheim Accolades.

Kathy Cryer, Janis Farrell, Kristi Force, Carol Latham and Dorothea Stephenson were honored for their accomplishments in the areas of civic improvement, culture, education and philanthropic activities, said Sally White, women’s division public affairs chairwoman.

Cryer, 42, who has a management job, is PTA council president for two school districts, a Girl Scout troop leader and Cub Scout den mother.

Farrell, 42, a substitute teacher, drives ill people to appointments, cleans their homes, prepares meals and listens to their concerns. She also is co-chair for Canyon Hills Community Council’s July 4 events.

Force, 35, is involved in promoting theater for children, is active with the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, and volunteers with the PTA. She also helps recommend new curriculum books for Orange Unified School District.

Latham, 47, is a former professional model and actress who produces fashion events. She is president of the chamber’s women’s division, president-elect of Altrusa International Inc. of Anaheim, a member of Anaheim Beautiful and Anaheim Arts Council.

Stephenson, 75, has been involved in boys and girls Scouting and sports leagues. She was named 1984 Mother of the Year, is involved in the Assistance League of Anaheim and is active in the Harp Guild, which supports music lessons for children.
