Redwood City-based Telegen Corp. named former Apple Computer Inc. executive G. Fred Forsyth president and chief executive of its Telegen Display Laboratories Inc. unit. The unit develops technology for flat-panel computer displays. . . . San Diego-based Mycogen Corp. said Chairman and Chief Executive Jerry Caulder has resigned and that Carl Eibl, president and CEO of DowElanco, which owns 56% of Mycogen, will succeed him as chairman of the agricultural biotechnology company. . . . El Segundo-based Mattel Inc. said it will close a plant in Peterlee, England, cut 250 jobs there and shift production of its Fisher-Price toys and Spears Games to Italy. . . . Advertising agency Leo Burnett Co. announced it was quitting its 4-year-old Reebok International Ltd. account, citing a difference in philosophies. The Chicago-based agency handled the Reebok apparel and footwear lines.
