Clooney to Chair Radio Fund-Raiser

“ER” star George Clooney is honorary chairman of this year’s KRTH-FM (101.1) “Care for Kids Radiothon” being broadcast on the station from 5 a.m. June 6 through 7 p.m. June 7.
The 38-hour event--the station’s fourth annual radiothon--will raise money for various local children’s charities through the Variety Club.
Beneficiaries include the Los Angeles Inner City Games, which is chaired by Clooney’s “Batman & Robin” co-star Arnold Schwarzenegger.
