* Litton Systems Inc. of Woodland Hills won a $4.5-million contract from the Naval Air Warfare Center in Patuxent River, Md., for carrier inertial navigation systems and technical data, and a $4.4-million contract from the Navy in Philadelphia for mode selector units.

* Sergent’s Mechanical Systems Inc. of Oxnard won two $786,000 contracts from the Army Corps of Engineers in Los Angeles, one for building repairs and the other for property maintenance and repair.

* Intertex General Contractors Inc. of Valencia won a $1.4-million contract from Engineering Field Activity West in San Bruno for architectural and engineering services.

* Trusco Tank Inc. of Laguna Hills was awarded a $502,837 contract from Ventura County to build Tierra Rejada Reservoir just west of the Moorpark Freeway in the Carlsberg development in Moorpark. The project includes constructing a 1.5-million-gallon steel reservoir and a water-supply pipeline. The project is scheduled to begin June 3 and completed by about Feb. 28.

* Medcom Builders of Santa Ynez was awarded a $369,151 contract from Ventura County to relocate the cardiology and nuclear medicine departments of Ventura County Medical Center. The project involves remodeling and renovation work on existing offices at the hospital. The work is scheduled to begin June 3, with completion expected by Oct. 24.
