As part of a monthlong celebration of the Conejo Valley’s creative side, the Thousand Oaks Arts Festival will hold its traditional ArtWalk this weekend.

The ArtWalk, featuring the works of more than 150 Southern California artists, will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday on the Exxon lawn at Hillcrest Drive and Wilbur Road.

In addition to the scores of painters who will exhibit their work, glass and stone sculptors, graphic artists and jewelry designers will display their creations at the free event.

The 10th annual festival is organized by the Thousand Oaks Arts Commission and the Arts Council of the Conejo Valley. Proceeds from the ArtWalk will go toward finding a site for the Conejo Valley Art Museum.

Later in the month, the festival will include a theatrical production of Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer’s Night Dream,” comedy shows and various musical performances.
