Hospital Offering Low-Cost CPR Course
Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center is offering a low-cost cardiopulmonary resuscitation class this week.
Standards for the four-hour class are outlined by the American Heart Assn. The workshop will feature lectures and demonstrations on how to restart a heart and remove foreign objects from the airway of a choking victim.
The cost is $15 for the class from 8 a.m. to noon Friday in the hospital’s Education Trailer, Room A, 17100 Euclid St.
