A parade with mimes, jugglers and jesters will wind through the grounds at 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday as part of the Mardi Gras-themed festivities. The Dixie Kings will play Dixieland jazz, and a dozen local restaurants will offer food and drink.
Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children less than 12 years old. Admission is free for children under 3 feet tall and seniors aged 62 or older from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free for fathers all day Sunday.
The festival will run from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at the northwest corner of the mall’s parking lot, at Beach Boulevard and Edinger Avenue.
