TBS’ garden variety show; Disney gets closer to LeAnn Rimes; TNT faces ‘Titans’ Clash

Actor Leslie Nielsen is a hapless “gardener” who discovers that a closer look at the backyard can reveal some rather bizarre and strange predators in National Geographic Explorer’s Savage Garden (TBS, Sunday at 4 p.m.). Nielsen finds that the garden can be a battlefield: There’s an air battle between a praying mantis and a bat and wrestling match between a jumping spider and a bee. For ages 10 and older.

Grammy Award-winning country music singer LeAnn Rimes is featured in her first television special, LeAnn Rimes in Concert (Disney, Sunday at 7 p.m.). The show features a concert performances taped at Disney World in Orlando, Fla., and takes a close-up look at the world of the 14-year-old performer. She is shown roller-blading, riding horses with her father and playing softball. Rimes is also seen performing her hit “Blue.” For the family.

In The Shoemaker and the Elves, this week’s installment of “Happily Ever After: Fairy Tales for Every Child” (HBO, Sunday at 7:30 p.m.), Tizoc (the voice of Paul Rodriguez) and his wife Malinal (the voice of Maria Conchita Alonso) come to understand the meaning of the song “The Good You Do Comes Back to You.” With the help of two elves, Tizoc becomes the most celebrated shoemaker in the land. For ages 5 to 11.

Moesha and her girlfriends attend a classy dinner with their boyfriends but Kim’s date disappears as soon as the food is gone, on Moesha (UPN, Tuesday at 8 p.m..) For ages 9 to 17.

Laurence Olivier is Zeus and Harry Hamlin plays his son, Perseus, who faces adventure and challenges in Clash of the Titans (TNT, Friday at 5 p.m.). Special effects are a highlight. For 11 to 17.
