Mission Displaying Impressionist Works
An exhibition of German Impressionist Karl Dempwolf’s paintings depicting California coastlines and landscapes is on display in the Rancho Room at Mission San Juan Capistrano until July 12.
Dempwolf, a member of the California Art Club, has made a career of painting California’s hills, valleys and beaches. He is also a photographer, instructional filmmaker and educator.
Admission to the exhibit is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and children. The mission, 31522 Camino Capistrano, is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
