City Officials Dedicate Police Station
Los Angeles city and police officials celebrated the opening of the $17-million Newton police station in a ceremony Friday.
The 38,359-square-foot facility, funded by a voter-approved construction bond, is at 3400 S. Central Ave. Its officers patrol some of the most crime-infested streets in the city.
