Grenade Attack on Restaurant Kills 2
Two people were killed and at least 28 injured when an unidentified attacker threw a grenade into a crowded Bogota restaurant, police said. The explosion occurred late Monday as people dined and listened to live music. The fatalities were a restaurant employee and a customer. No arrests had been made. The motive for the attack was not immediately clear, but police said they were investigating whether the intended target was a candidate for council elections. Witnesses also said the restaurant owner had received death threats from people to whom he owed money.
