Special Service at Buddhist Temple

The Oxnard Buddhist Temple will hold a special service at 4 p.m. today at its Oxnard temple. The Rev. Marvin Kenji Harada will deliver the dharma message. The Seibo-Taikai year-end party will be held in the social hall after the service.
In addition, the Japanese culture and language school will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to noon in the social hall.
On Sunday, a general polish and cleanup of the shrine will begin at 9 a.m. The Buddhist temple is at 250 South H St. For information, call 483-5948.
