Driver in Santa Ana Hit-and-Run Sought
SANTA ANA —
Investigators are searching for a hit-and-run driver who killed a man crossing Fairview Street, police said Wednesday.
Bobby Vasquez, 57, had been walking across Fairview north of 1st Street about 8 p.m. Tuesday when he was struck by a white Toyota car traveling south, Police Lt. Ken Hall said.
“He was carried on the hood of the vehicle for over 100 feet before falling on 1st Street,” Hall said.
