Their Santa Best

If it’s December then it must mean parents are flocking to the malls--not just to shop, but also to honor that holiday ritual of having their children’s pictures taken with Santa. This usually means dressing them up in cute, wintry clothes such as knit caps, sweaters and velvet dresses, from tiny babies to school-age kids. On a recent afternoon at the Beverly Center, a few felt a bit intimidated by the big guy in the red suit, but most happily sat on Santa’s knee and whispered their Christmas wishes.
