Starving Seals
I’m not convinced we can be smug about the seal tragedy not being a man-made disaster (Dec. 8). Aren’t scientists attributing the severity of El Nino to climawtic changes resulting from our use of fossil fuels and our destruction of rain forests? There will never again be a “balance of nature” on this planet. All we can do is try to mitigate the damage we have caused.
