Claude Lanzmann’s monumental 9 1/2-hour “Shoah,” one of the greatest of all Holocaust documentaries, has seldom been screened since its 1985 release because of its daunting length. The American Cinematheque offers a rare chance to see this compelling work when it presents the film in two parts at Raleigh Studios, Friday at 7:15 p.m. and Saturday at 6:15 p.m., as the final entry in its “Really Long Film Series.” (More on “Shoah” in Screening Room, Page XX.)
