Chapman Appoints Fund-Raising Director

Charles W. “Chuck” Knox has been named assistant vice president of university relations and campaign director at Chapman University.
Knox, who has nearly 20 years of experience in higher education, will develop fund-raising strategies for the university.
He previously worked at UC Irvine as the assistant dean for development for the Graduate School of Management. Before that, he was with the University of Washington, where he directed 16 college-based fund-raising operations and provided leadership for the university’s $285-million campaign. He also has worked for UC Santa Barbara, UCLA and the Claremont Men’s College.
Knox, 48, is originally from Whittier.
