* Sensible growth in our valleys is a wonderful thing, but not before we consider the effect on our over-burdened freeways. (“Critics Shoot Down Schillo’s Trial Balloon,” Dec. 14).
Since the development of Woodland Hills, Calabasas, Agoura Hills and Westlake Village, traveling the freeway, especially the 101, is getting intolerable.
What we need is a moratorium on all large developments until we can solve our local freeway transportation problems.
I wonder who is deciding our future growth? The Planning Commission or the developer?
