Two people received minor injuries in a drive-by shooting Saturday morning near Oxnard College.
Filemon Matavao, 22, and Tana Molia, 28, were attending a party in the garage of a house in the 1200 block of Nelson Place about 3:30 a.m. when a gold car drove by and someone inside fired several shots from a small-caliber handgun and a shotgun, said Oxnard Police Officer Christa Lyneis.
Matavao and Molia suffered superficial gunshot wounds, and Matavao’s eye was injured, Lyneis said. Both were treated at St. John’s Regional Medical Center.
Police were investigating.
