Bruins Can’t Wait to Have Seconds

Share

The Bruins’ pre-conference success has one common theme: Domination of the second half.

During UCLA’s current seven-game winning streak (following UCLA’s futile, 41-point loss in the season opener to North Carolina), the Bruins have scored more points than their opponents in every second half--and by large amounts in most cases.

After the Tar Heel game (in which UCLA was outscored, 56-36, in the second half), UCLA has scored an average of 45.7 points in the second half and given up only 34.1.
