A series of classes on disaster preparedness is being offered through the Community Emergency Response Team program.
Residents are encouraged to participate in the classes to prepare themselves and their neighborhood in case of a fire, earthquake, flood or other disaster.
The classes are free and enrollment is open all year. Now through November, a variety of topics will be covered, including first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and fire prevention and fire suppression.
The program was established by the Anaheim Fire Department’s Office of Emergency Services.
