Apology
The resolution reads: “Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), that the Congress apologizes to women whose ancestors suffered as second-rate citizens under the Constitution and the laws of the United States until 1920 (when the U.S. passed the 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote).
