Helicopter Makes Emergency Landing
A Marine Corps helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing Tuesday evening off Ortega Highway five miles east of Interstate 5, the California Highway Patrol said.
Nobody was injured in the incident, which was reported about 7:45 p.m.
The helicopter, out of the Tustin Marine Corps Helicopter Air Station, landed in an open area east of San Juan Capistrano. The cause of the incident was not immediately known.
