Relationships Topic of College Workshop

Helping couples get the most out of their relationships is the subject of a one-day Golden West College workshop called “Hot Monogamy.”

Jane Drew, an author and clinical psychologist, will tell participants why desire leaves a relationship, and how to get it back. She will explain passion’s biochemical and emotional roots and the keys to emotional intimacy, and will help those in the class talk about their emotional and sexual needs.

Drew is the author of “Where Were You When I Needed You, Dad? A Guide to Healing Your Father Wound,” and “Show Me How to Love You--Creating Your Own Couples Support Group.”

The course will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 26 at the college, 15744 Golden West St. The seminar costs $42 a person or $78 a couple.
