Rosina Lawrence; Co-Star of Laurel and Hardy’s ‘Way Out West’

Rosina Lawrence, 84, co-star with Laurel and Hardy in the 1937 comedy “Way Out West” and an actress in other Hal Roach films. Born in Canada, she moved with her family to Los Angeles in the 1920s and by the age of 10 had landed her first movie role in the Universal film “Lady of Quality.” She also performed with Laurel and Hardy in “Pick a Star.” She is survived by her second husband, John C. McCabe, two daughters, a son and five grandchildren. In New York on June 23 of cancer.
