Public Invited to Tour Project Sites

Members of the public may join a bus tour Saturday of 23 projects included in Ventura’s $24.4-million capital improvement budget.
City Council, Planning Commission and design review committee members will participate in the tour.
Sites to be visited range from the Ventura Avenue Water Treatment Plant and Ventura River Trail in west Ventura, Surfers Point and the pier downtown and Juanamaria Park and the Victoria Avenue/Ventura Freeway Interchange in east Ventura.
The three- to four-hour tour departs at 8 a.m. from the rear of City Hall.
