CSUN Hillel Director

* Re “Director of CSUN’ Hillel Center Retires,” May 24.

Your article about the retirement of Cal State Northridge’s Rabbi Jerrold Goldstein was much appreciated by the thousands of students whose time at CSUN has been greatly enriched by this wonderful man.

Over the past years, CSUN has been embroiled in controvesy after controversy, mostly involving one form of another of racism. He has spent his life helping people-whether walking for equal rights with the Rev. Martin Luther King or just helping student find a sense of community. While our campus leaders allegedly preach multiculturalism and subsequently do nothing more than break up our campus, this great man has been a beacon and hope at one of the most divided campuses on the face of the planet.
