Summer in Full Swing With Hot Days Ahead

Seasonal temperatures will prevail throughout the San Fernando Valley this week as morning low clouds give way to bright sunshine and warm temperatures, forecasters said.
“It’s a pretty stable pattern that is typical of this time of year,” said John Sherwin, a meteorologist with WeatherData, which provides forecasting information to The Times.
A high-pressure system hovering over Utah and Colorado will mean high and dry conditions for the Valley, with temperatures ranging from the high 80s to the mid-90s in the warmest spots, Sherwin said.
Highs of 81 in Burbank, 84 in Van Nuys and 86 in Woodland Hills are predicted for today.
