Contest for Latino Filmmakers, Writers

The Latino Entertainment Media Institute (LEMI) is calling for original screenplays and film works in progress for the first annual LEMI contest.
The winning Latino writer or filmmaker will be awarded a $7,500 grant and $25,000 in in-kind filmmaking services.
The application deadline is Aug. 15; the entry fee is $15.
The winner will be announced Sept. 10 during the Latino Entertainment Industry Conference in Burbank.
LEMI is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing opportunities for Latinos in the entertainment industry.
