MADD Schedules Awards Banquet

Tickets are on sale for the sixth annual Mothers Against Drunk Driving community awards banquet Aug. 23 at Harbortown Marina Resort.

Each year, the Ventura County chapter of MADD honors law enforcement and emergency personnel, the district attorney’s office and members of the community for their work to keep drunk drivers off the road.

This year’s event, scheduled from 6 to 10 p.m., will include dinner, an awards presentation and entertainment.
