I wish to add a few facts to Michael Quintanilla’s superb article on Bram Stoker, Count Dracula and Bela Lugosi (“Drac’s Back,” July 14).
Lugosi, who first appeared as Dracula on stage and is so identified with the role, actually portrayed the famous vampire exactly twice in films: “Dracula” (1931) and a cameo performance, “Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein” (1948).

With regard to the new Dracula stamps, I personally will keep to the new Bugs Bunny self-adhesive stamps. I will reserve the Dracula stamps for any correspondence to the IRS.
