Authorities Seek Help in Finding 4 Suspects

Ventura County sheriff’s investigators are asking for the public’s help in locating four people suspected of crimes ranging from drunken driving to attempted murder.

Authorities are searching for David Oliver Oliva, 19, of Oxnard in connection with the attempted murder of a 16-year-old boy.

Investigators say Oliva and two others drove the boy to an isolated area on Wood Road in Oxnard on the night of Sept. 26. Oliva is accused of dragging the teenager out of the car and shooting him several times. When his gun ran out of bullets, Oliva allegedly stabbed the victim numerous times.

The teenager was eventually found on the side of the road by an off-duty California Highway Patrol officer.

The victim later identified Oliva as his attacker, and Oliva fled the area. His last known address was 449 W. Birch St., Oxnard.

Oliva is Latino, 5 feet, 11 inches tall, 230 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. The word “Chiques” is tattooed on his back, authorities said.

Antonio Orozco, 26, of Oxnard is wanted on an outstanding warrant after being arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs, driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license.

Orozco was arrested by the CHP in Oxnard on Sept. 21 and released without charges being filed, authorities said. On Oct. 10, Oxnard police arrested him on a separate allegation of possessing drugs, investigators said.

A warrant for Orozco’s arrest on the original allegations was issued Nov. 19, but by that time he had already been released.

Orozco’s last known address was 500 Cuesta Del Mar, No. 26, Oxnard. He is Latino, 5 feet, 11 inches tall, 160 pounds, with black hair and green eyes.

There are three warrants for the arrest of Linda Sandra Trug, 48, of Simi Valley in connection with theft, failure to appear in court, being under the influence of drugs, possessing drug paraphernalia and contempt of court.

She is white, 5 feet, 2 inches tall, 125 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Her last known address was 564 Talbert St., Simi Valley.

Four warrants have been issued for the arrest of Mearm Marie Orr, 46, of Ventura. Investigators say Orr, who also goes by the name Mearm Peevy, was convicted of violating her parole by possessing drugs, being under the influence of drugs and drunken driving.

Orr is white, 5 feet, 2 inches tall, 120 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. Her last known address was 4342 N. Ventura Ave., Ventura.

Tipsters need not give their names. If information leads to an arrest and conviction, rewards of up to $1,000 may be granted.
