* CSU Chancellor Barry Munitz may have charmed the Legislature, the media and the CSU board of trustees but not the faculty (editorial, July 21). By us he will be remembered as the author of a punitive and disingenuous merit pay scheme designed to humiliate and discredit a generation of faculty whose hard work and dedication have served the people of California well.
