Key Ska Figures to Perform Live on KUCI

Live, in-studio radio performances by key figures from the British 2-Tone ska movement of the early 1980s will highlight Saturday’s edition of “The Ska Parade,” a weekly program on UC Irvine-based KUCI-FM (88.9).

The Specials will play from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m., followed by former English Beat front man Dave Wakeling and his new band, Bang!, from 3 to 4 p.m. Also appearing from noon to 1 p.m. on the show hosted by Tazy Phillipz is Southern California rock-funk band Weapon of Choice.
