Although goaltender Patrick Roy has won 357 games, victories have been hard to come by against the Philadelphia Flyers.

On Thursday night, he beat them, 2-1, at Philadelphia for only the second time in his regular-season NHL career.

“I feel that I have nothing to prove to anyone,” said Roy after making 30 saves for the Colorado Avalanche in a tense battle of divisional leaders.
