Michael Bishop and Mike Lawrence put an exclamation point on Kansas State’s best regular season in 87 years.

Bishop ran for two touchdowns and passed for another to set a scoring record for Kansas State quarterbacks and Lawrence became the school’s career rushing leader as the No. 9 Wildcats beat Iowa State, 28-3, Saturday in a Big 12 games at Ames, Iowa.

Kansas State, 10-1 overall and 7-1 in the Big 12, completed its first 10-victory regular season since 1910 and stayed in the running for a Bowl Alliance berth.

The Wildcats sputtered at times against an Iowa State team that had been giving up 46.5 points a game. But Iowa State (1-10, 1-7) rarely dented a Kansas State defense that limited the Cyclones to zero yards rushing and sacked Todd Bandhauer eight times.

Oklahoma State 24, Baylor 14--Quarterback Tony Lindsay led on three long touchdown drives as the bowl-bound Cowboys finished their finest regular season since 1988 with a victory over the Bears at Waco, Texas.

The Cowboys (8-3, 5-3) are likely headed to the Aloha Bowl. Baylor (2-9, 1-7) finished its worst season since 1973, when it was 2-9 under Grant Teaff.

Lindsay passed for 81 yards and was Oklahoma State’s leading rusher with 73 yards in 16 carries.

The Cowboys went ahead, 21-7, with 12:07 to play in the Big 12 game on a one-yard touchdown run by Brian Aikins to cap a 71-yard drive.

Oklahoma 32, Texas Tech 21--Seth Littrell rushed for two touchdowns and Justin Fuente revived Oklahoma’s dormant passing game to lead the Sooners to a comeback victory at Lubbock, Texas.

Trailing 18-9 entering the third quarter, Fuente, the Sooners’ backup quarterback, took advantage of a shanked Tech punt by throwing a 19-yard touchdown pass to Stephen Alexander for Oklahoma’s third passing touchdown this season.

The Raiders (6-5, 5-3) responded with a 76-yard drive that ended when fullback Jonathan Hawkins fumbled into the end zone, where Oklahoma’s Martin Chase recovered for a touchback.

Fuente then led the Sooners (4-8, 2-6) 80 yards in seven plays, with Littrell scoring from the one.
