Seniors Invited to Thanksgiving Lunches

Thanksgiving will come a little early for area seniors who will be entertained at lunch today and Wednesday by the San Fernando Valley Interfaith Council and Organization for the Needs of the Elderly (ONE).

The two groups plan celebrations for seniors 60 and older throughout the Valley.

The lunches begin at 11:30 a.m. and organizers ask for a $1.50 donation.

On Thanksgiving Day, ONE volunteers will deliver turkey meals for homebound seniors in Reseda, Encino, Canoga Park and Woodland Hills. To arrange for a meal, call: (818) 705-2345.
