Palmdale Man Arrested in Drug Case
U.S. marshals on Tuesday arrested a Palmdale man in connection with a cocaine ring that stored 1,000 kilograms of the drug in a Baltimore warehouse.
Carlos Quiceno, 41, was arrested without incident, the Marshals Service said in a statement.
Three others already have been convicted and sentenced in the case.
Quiceno is believed to have arranged a shipment of about 2,200 pounds from Colombia to Maryland, the statement said. The shipment, found in February in a warehouse in Baltimore, became the largest drug case in Maryland’s history.
