Tree Lights Will Pay Tribute to Loved Ones
Each light that will illuminate a Christmas tree in front of St. Jude Medical Center on Dec. 7 will be a tribute to the memory of a deceased loved one.
The eighth annual “Light Up a Life” tree-lighting ceremony is a fund-raiser for the hospital’s hospice, which offers home visits for people with terminal illnesses and no medical insurance.
For a donation of $25 or more, a light will be placed on the tree as a memorial, hospital officials said.
The tree-lighting ceremony will begin at 4:30 p.m. in front of the hospital, 101 E. Valencia Mesa Drive.
