Want More Riders? Just Clean Up the Buses
- Share via
From my Palos Verdes house, the drive downtown to my California Mart showroom is a drag (“L.A. or Bus,” by Bradford McKee, So SoCal, Aug. 31). I’ve been a dedicated bus rider for more than a decade now. I rest, read and sleep on the bus, arriving wide awake and rarin’ to go.
Whenever possible, I avoid MTA buses, which are often late and have unfriendly drivers. The edges of the hard seats on the new buses cut into my thighs. The rear doors don’t work. The best buses are the commuter lines--LADOT.
Give us clean, comfortable, on-time buses, and you’ll see a lot more bus riders.
