Man, 20, Dies 3 Days After Shooting
ORANGE —
A 20-year-old Orange man died Tuesday, three days after he was shot in the head at a convenience store parking lot.
Danny Gomes died at 11:20 a.m. at Western Medical Center-Santa Ana, a nursing supervisor said. He was in the back seat of a car in the 7-Eleven parking lot near East Chapman Avenue and Hewes Street in Orange when he was shot in the head, police said. Investigators said the assailants are unknown and that the shooting might be gang-related.
